Marco Mariani

Marco Mariani graduated in “Law”, in “Political Science”, in “Administration Sciences” and in “Social Sciences for non-profit organizations and International Cooperation” with full marks.

Furthermore, Marco attended post graduate masters/courses at many other universities (Bocconi, Luiss, Sapienza, European University Institute, EADA Business School).

Currently he is Lecturer at the Universities of Milan Politecnico, Milan “Statale”, Florence, Bolzano, Modena e Reggio Emilia, Sassari.

Marco is the founding partner of Catte Mariani Law Firm, based in Florence and he is licensed to practice before the Italian Higher Courts. He mainly deals with issues concerning Public Utilities Law and Public Procurement, Administrative Law, Law and Economics. He wrote numerous publications (including two monographs, 34 anthologies and more than 50 articles in legal journals).

Marco currently serves as President at the UIA “Administrative and Regulatory Law” Commission (Paris), as Deputy President at Smart Cities Law Firm (Barcelona), as European Affairs Director at the Luigi Einaudi Foundation (Rome) and as Second Vice President of the Board of the European Liberal Forum (Bruxelles).
