Renato Loiero had been a Parliamentary advisor of the Republic Senate for eleven years. He is currently the Head of Office at the State Budget Service.

During the service, he was in charge of the Research Department and the Service of the Parliamentary Commissions. In the XV Legislature, he also held the position of Head of the Secretariat Office of the Parliamentary Supervisory Commission on Tax Registry. In the XVI legislature he was also in charge of monitoring the Secretariat of the Extraordinary Commission for Price Control.

He is the author of several monographs and articles on tax and financial matters.
