Vincenzo Palumbo had been a member of the National Assembly of the Executive Committee of the Italian Liberal Party. He was a Senator from 1983 to 1987 and he was a member of the European Consilium Assembly. From 1988 to 1987 he was a member of the CSM and in 1993 he became Chief of Ministerial Legislative Office for Community Politics and Institutional Affairs. In 2008 he founded the Liberal Sicilian Network, in 2010 he worked for the s.c. ‘porcellum’ referendum. He was the President of the National Liberal Party from 2012 to 2013, when he joined in ALDE Party.
