Vittorio Lorenzo Tumeo

Vittorio Lorenzo Tumeo is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Messina, a trainee lawyer, Honorary Archive Inspector of the Ministry of Culture for the Sicily region, a freelance journalist, President of the Municipal Council of Ficarra (Messina) and regional councilor of ANCI Giovani Sicilia. He graduated in Law at the university of Messina with top marks and honors, discussing a research thesis on the protection of private property. His scientific interests refer to the historical-legal-political-institutional area. He has already published various monographs and edited works. For the Rubbettino publishing house, also in the university series, we highlight: “General Theory for Political Formation (edited by), with a preface by Minister Antonio Martino (2022); “Terra della Ficarra. Commentary on archival, bibliographic and cartographic sources” (2023); “Two essays on private law. The destination of the post-mortem body for scientific purposes and the protection of the elderly in the Europe of rights” (2024); “Notes and ideas for a liberalism of the future. Or reflections on two rediscovered letters by Giovanni Malagodi” (2024). He was a scholarship holder of the Crimi Foundation and won the latest edition of the School of Liberalism 2023 held in Messina. He is also an administrative consultant and for cultural programming of the Piccolo Foundation of Calanovella and is a member of the Messinese Society of National History and the Italian Institute of Castles.
